About Funny Females and Friends*

Funny Females and Friends* was founded in Frankfurt in 2023 with the goal of creating a more inclusive comedy scene by empowering diverse voices. We create a fun, friendly space where FLINTA* comedians can perform stand-up in a supportive environment, try out new material, and discover their voice—while also welcoming selected non-FLINTA comedians who share our values.

*What’s FLINTA*? A German acronym for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people—in short, everyone who is not a cis man.
