You did your school internship in an open-cast mine and can recognize the origin of the coal by the smell of sulphur? You've been heating your own home for decades using thermal waste recycling and you like to discuss the best way to mine nickel and cobalt on near-Earth asteroids during party small talk? Great! Then this is just the thing for you.

This time, our quiz masters Tom and Darren dig up exciting, interesting and unusual facts from the wonderful world of raw materials and once again unearth some finely honed questions, top-class picture puzzles and rare sound snippets for you. But don't worry: even if you've never dealt with raw materials before and can only recognize the age of the milk in your fridge by its smell, you can still take part. All you need to play is a little general knowledge and a few brave fellow players. In our quiz, knowledge treasures are not unearthed alone, but together as a team. Are you coming alone? Then we'll find a few players for you! Of course, there's also something to win.
