The cabaret quartet: Gilly Alfeo, Robert Griess, Chin Meyer and Sonja Pikart

As he does every year, Cologne cabaret artist Robert Griess has gathered three great colleagues around him to create sparks of high comedy from all the topics that would otherwise only put you in a bad mood - satire with a double whammy, true to the motto "He who honors sacred cows is pious. Whoever slaughters holy cows gets fed up!"

A settling of accounts - with everything that defined the year 2025 and threw the world into turmoil: From the AfD to the Bundestag elections and the new government in Germany to inflation, climate change and the Panama Canal to the unchecked Trump Trouble. Will the FDP have to move its party headquarters to a yellow garbage can for cost reasons? Will the Bundeswehr be ready for war in time before America also wants Heligoland?
A final reckoning with everything that was stupid, foolish and wrong in 2025. As always, served with all the ingredients needed for a hearty platter: From sarcastic stand-up monologues to satirical crowd scenes, from socially critical songs to hilarious sketches, nothing is left out to get the audience going at the highest level for two hours.

Robert Griess is one of the sharpest political cabaret artists in Germany and, according to the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, has "the fastest and cheekiest mouth in Cologne". He has been organizing the Schlachtplatte for over 18 years. Chin Meyer (Berlin) is the financial cabaret artist with a special focus on bankers, decision-makers and the super-rich. Gilly Alfeo (Cologne) shaped the Springmaus ensemble for 22 years and was most recently part-time president of STUNKSITZUNG and is also an outstanding musician. And for the first time from Austria: Sonja Pikart(Vienna) inspires with her unmistakable multi-layered humor, astute eye and acting virtuosity and is one of the most important voices on the Austrian cabaret scene.

At last! It took a few decades after the heyday of the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft for Bavarian audiences to once again be able to enjoy the kind of ensemble cabaret that producer Robert Griess presents under the title "Schlachtplatte"."
