Schöneberger Kürbisfest

On the first weekend in October, an autumnal pumpkin festival will take place on Akazien- and Belziger Straße in Schöneberg.

More than 10,000 pumpkins of 20 different varieties are at the heart of the street festival in the Akazienkiez district. These are transformed into pumpkin soups, macaroons, cakes, lasagnas, quiches and other delicacies by the numerous participating restaurateurs. Traders from all over Germany also offer products for everyday use.

In addition to the established traders, many traders from all over the world will once again be presenting their diverse goods this year: Tea, coffee, oils, spices, handicrafts, designer clothing, jewelry and much more.

The popular festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and has gained many new fans in the last two years. For three generations, the market has been the place to meet, relax, chat, shop, eat and drink in the heart of Berlin.

Many people already find great ideas for their Christmas presents here in a relaxed, autumnal setting. Most local stores also open their doors on Sundays.

A children's corner is once again set up for the little ones.
