A musical space for self-awareness

What Sophia Fritz began with the SPIEGEL bestseller Toxische Weiblichkeit, she now continues with Gestalt therapist Christina Lehr in Erforschungsraum Schöner Scheitern and brings it to the stage.

In a daring collision with the music of Martin Bechler, singer and control center of Fortuna Ehrenfeld, spaces open up in a multimedia melange for encounters of future people who, ciao cocoa, dig up the front garden of stale prejudices in a life-affirming, good-humored and willing to hurt.

Bechler's fracking ballads about the crookedness, scratches and abysses of life seem the ideal blueprints for a courage-driven evening of shared failure.

We play with failure on all levels. Celebrating it, dancing in short sequences and exploring our feelings through guided sequences.

Somatic depths of honest living alternate with exuberant celebration.

Sophia Fritz, born in 1997, draws on her experience as an author as well as her work in trauma-sensitive bodywork and end-of-life care to deal with her own imprint in an approachable and transparent way. You can find out more about Sophia here: https://www.instagram.com/sophiafriitz/

Together with Christina Lehr, she developed the exploration space www.ehrlichleben.de

Christina Lehr, born in 1982, contributes her experience from Gestalt therapy as a long-time companion of people in transformation processes. She works with clients in individual settings, is a midwife, mother of an adult daughter and has over 14 years of experience in tantric massage.

Martin Bechler, born in 1969, head and singer of the Cologne-based indie band Fortuna Ehrenfeld, has taken his project from a moderately attended pub concert to a sold-out Cologne Philharmonic Hall in just a few years.

With his idiosyncratic poetry and unpredictable sound cosmos, he has created a completely independent genre. In 2024, he was awarded the German Cabaret Prize for his "intoxicating melodies and musical resistance".
