In the organizer's words:
An open writing workshop for people from all countries and cultures
What defines our culture? How has it shaped us? Which rituals and customs did we grow up with and which are (still) part of our lives today?
Under the guidance of author Angelika Sinn, the participants (aged 18 and over) report on their experiences with new and old traditions in their families and circles of friends. Poetically, essayistically, dialogically or experimentally, they write about festivals and celebrations, dances and music, religious and secular ceremonies, as well as everyday occurrences: the preparation of the first cup of tea in the morning, the weekly visit to a relative or the annual trip to the seaside.
Perfect German and previous literary knowledge are not necessary!
Participation in the writing workshop is free of charge.
