Under the title “Send Your Light,” the Bach Society of Düsseldorf invites you to an atmospheric concert at St. Michael’s Church in Aachen-Burtscheid. The program features motets by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Johannes Brahms, and Hugo Distler, complemented by beautiful contemporary works by Ola Gjeilo.
The program spans a spectrum from Baroque radiance to ethereal Nordic timbres and centers on light as a symbol of hope and confidence.
