Serenade im Park
In the organizer's words:
Classical open-air concert on Saturday, July 18, 2026 in front of the Badenburg in Nymphenburg Palace Park.
The 'Seren ade in the Park' is an open-air classical music concert presented annually in July by the Jugendkulturwerk of the Munich Youth Welfare Office in front of the Badenburg in the palace park.
The 'Serenade in the Park' is the only major concert event in Nymphenburg Palace Park and was initiated by Anton Fingerle, the first Munich city school inspector after the Second World War.
With this annual concert, the Jugendkulturwerk aims to introduce children and young people to classical music. It also gives young musicians and artists the opportunity to present their talent and skills to a wide audience.
Thanks to the Nymphenburg Palace and Garden Administration, which makes the area in front of the Badenburg available to the Jugendkulturwerk, the serenade can be held again and again in this wonderful setting in Nymphenburg Palace Park.
