SEX AND RAGE. EAT ME RAW is a ritual performance about anger, desire, and the psychoanalytic exploration of a collective wound. Sex and rage are likely among the forms of human expression that have been most strongly repressed, distorted, and stigmatized by colonial and patriarchal systems of power. The performance takes this as an opportunity to explore the deep connection—and above all, the explosive power—of desire and rage. How can these forces serve as a spiritual resource? And to what extent can they act as a magical engine of collective transformation? The artists pose these questions to the shadows, stones, and cysts that have grown within them. They seek answers in artistic languages and somatic practices of resistance. SEX AND RAGE. EAT ME RAW combines performance, ritual, and sound to create a space of experience between resistance and care.
