The left between solidarity and anti-Semitism - an attempt at an overdue reorientation

The event aims to help counteract the categorical either-or hatred that has grown in leaps and bounds among many on the left in connection with Israel/Palestine solidarity since October 7, 2023. To this end, the organizers want to take a differentiating look at various examples - including from Bremen - that illustrate this.

Panel discussion with:

- Dietrich Schulze-Marmeling, author of the book "Antisemitism Reloaded - Die Linke, der Staat und der 7. Oktober";

- Henriette Quade, Independent Member of Parliament for Saxony-Anhalt, formerly Die Linke, co-founder of the alliance "Halle gegen Rechts - Bündnis für Zivilcourage" and, among other things, collaborator on the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Oury Jalloh, who died in prison;

- Representatives of the BgA (Alliance against Anti-Semitism) Bremen
