The "Private Dancer Tour" in 1985 was Tina Turner's first solo tour after her divorce from her drug-addicted and violent husband Ike Turner. The tour for her 5th studio album with 180 shows worldwide is regarded as the starting signal for her rocket-like rise, which went down in music history as the greatest comeback. 40 years after the start of her incomparable solo career, "Simply The Best - The Tina Turner Story" pays tribute to the unique life's work of the most important artist of recent decades.

THE BEST MUSICAL TRIBUTE SHOW

The gripping and emotional musical biography Simply The Best was awarded "Best Musical Tribute Show" at the Reel Awards in Las Vegas and depicts the eventful life of the exceptional artist Tina Turner with lots of live music and impressive scenes for a good two hours: From initial successes, the tough time with a drug-addicted and violent husband, the failure of a great love and finally, after the separation, Tina's new beginning and rocket-like rise in the 80s to the film music of "James Bond 007-Goldeneye" in the mid-90s.

THE PERFECT DOPPELGANGER

Dorothea "Coco" Fletcher is considered one of the best doubles in the world. With the special timbre in her voice and an energetic performance, she brings the great rock diva back to the stage and thrills the audience to storms of enthusiasm. "Tina Turner's performances are very different from those of other artists. I have always been fascinated by her incredible energy and stage presence," says the US-American.

EVENTFUL LIFE AND STELLAR CAREER

Anna Mae Bullock, born on November 26, 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee (USA), grew up in Nutbush and became a global star and legend as Tina Turner, from 1958 alongside her future husband Ike Turner. In 1984, she made an outstanding comeback as a solo artist. In 2009, the singer with the unmistakable timbre went on her last world tour. This tour was the grand finale to an extraordinary career.

Simply The Best is a tribute to the exceptional artist who has shaped half a century of rock history - with over 180 million records sold, countless number 1 hits and chart positions for major hits such as "Simply The Best", "Private Dancer" and "We Don't Need Another Hero".
