“Simply-Tina” is a musical tribute to one of the greatest artists of our time. This tribute show celebrates the best of over fifty years of Tina Turner—from her early days with classics like “River Deep Mountain High” and “Proud Mary” to her unforgettable solo hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “Simply the Best,” and “Private Dancer.”

The exceptional singer *Bonita Niessen brings the greatest hits to the stage with her impressive stage presence and sensational voice—authentic, full of passionate energy, and with a rousing live performance. Together with six first-class musicians and two backup singers, she takes the audience on a musical journey through five decades of Tina Turner!

Short biography of Bonita Niessen
Bonita Niessen works with numerous pop and big bands as well as orchestras, including the Bundeswehr Big Band, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, and the Dortmund Philharmonic. She has also been hired as a backup singer for Till Brönner, Daliah Lavi, Helene Fischer, and Stefanie Heinzmann, among others.

She participated in the talent show SSDSGPS and placed second in 2004. Her teaching activities include guest lecturer positions at the Powervoice Academy Hamburg and the Herford University of Church Music. She has recording contracts with BMG Hamburg and Raab Records/Warner Music and has released several albums and singles.

As a songwriter and composer, she works on her own albums as well as for other artists and studios. She has appeared on TV with Michael Bublé and Kool & The Gang and participated in the live broadcast of the Luther Pop Oratorio on ZDF. Her voice can also be heard in SWR3 radio jingles, and she has worked in the studio with Dieter Falk and Lillo Scrimali.
