Ready for a killer show? In November 2023, industrial horror sensation SKYND will come to Germany for several club shows - live in Leipzig, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt.
Not much is knownabout the duo of namesake vocalist Skynd and multi-instrumentalist Fatherbek; what is handed down, however, is that they formed their project in Sydney, Australia in 2017. Their music, however, does not sound at all like sunny Down Under.
As a concept band, SKYND is firmly committed to one theme: True Crime. It's not light fare - the songs deal with serial killers, mass murders and mysterious deaths, accordingly the titles are then also "Richard Ramirez", "Columbine" or "Jim Jones".
In 2018 they release their first single "Elisa Lam" and make such an impression on Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, among others, with their morbid industrial rock that he immediately participates in their second single"Gary Heidnik". In the same year SKYND released their debut EP "Chapter I", followed by "Chapter II" in 2019.
With their theatrical visuals and performances SKYND can keep up with many a horror movie. In 2022 they release their current single "John Wayne Gacy", with which they once again dare to look into the deepest abysses of the human psyche. They translate their findings into experimental, gloomy and mechanical-sounding sounds that have never been heard before.
After a summer tour supporting Ice Nine Kills, SKYND will return to Germany in November 2023 for several headline shows. In their luggage: some of the most gruesome tales in rock history. Participation at your own risk!
