Henrik Szántó is half Hungarian, half Finnish and lives as an author, spoken word artist and presenter in Hanover. As a spoken word artist, Szántó performs on stages throughout the German-speaking world. As a speaker, Szántó holds seminars on poetic and creative writing, performance and presentation confidence and prepares stages for new and established voices. The core themes of his work are multilingualism, memory work and cultural diversity. And then comes you: Slam Bremen. Your word. Your place, without (genre) boundaries, for words, for music, for performance. A place for art and junk, for foreign shame and adoration. A place for competition.
