Sloe Noon - EP Release Show

Sloe Noon is guitarist and singer Anna Olivia Böke, who draws her inspiration from both countries she has lived in. With influences from British alternative rock and the krautrock beats of the Ruhr, Sloe Noon creates a unique blend of guitar-driven pop, alt-rock and shoegaze. Backed by live drums, guitar and bass, their performance invites you into the dreamy bedroom where the songs were written, only to tear down its walls together.

Her name comes from a visit to a chip shop in her student hometown of Brighton, where she played around on the walls with fridge poetry magnets. Later, combined with a sloe gin nightcap at Grandma's, it was all clear. In 2022, the 'Liminality' EP was released in collaboration with Mielke via UK tastemaker label Dalliance (Francis of Delirium, HighSchool), while 2023 saw her first tours and festival appearances in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France - in 24 and 25 most recently with queues outside her gigs at Left of The Dial Rotterdam, Mutations Festival Brighton and Reeperbahn Festival. After a trilogy of singles in 2024, created in collaboration with producer Theo Verney (English Teacher, Lime Garden, TRAAMS), Sloe Noon released their new EP "All Feelings, No Technique" in 2025. The latest EP, "Principles In The Way of Progress", was created last summer in London's Hackney Road Studios in collaboration with producer Michelle Hindriks.

The two instantly clicked and recorded five songs together, resulting in the brilliant EP - a collection of songs characterized by emotional overwhelm, regret, love, intoxication and aging. Putting her pain on paper, she delivers honest truths, shines a spotlight on female experiences while trying to take back control of what can affect her in order to find a way forward.

After a short trip to NYC including a festival appearance at New Colossus, Principles In The Way of Progress will be released on March 20, 2026 - followed by release shows in Hamburg and Berlin and a UK tour.
