SMASH COMEDY: the Pride Edition at the NightWash club!

Punchlines against the patriarchy: Hamburg's queerfeminist stand-up comedy club SMASH COMEDY celebrates the female & queer comedians of the German stand-up scene. For Pride Month in Cologne, there's a deluxe show with ALL QUEER LINE UP of the coolest LGBTQ comedians in Germany: Pam Pengco, Tobias Born, Neo, Coremy, and Marlena Schönfeld! - presented by Smash founder, musician and stand-up comedienne Schwessi from Hamburg.

PAM PENGCO is a comedienne, drag queen and entertainer with unmistakable stage energy. In her stand-up, she combines personal stories, sharp wit and musical elements to create a unique comedy experience. Direct, self-deprecating and always with maximum presence.

COREMY combines humor with queer-feminist and political themes. With piano or guitar, she tells snotty, poetic and accurate stories about everyday life, body norms and social contradictions. Musical comedy with attitude and guaranteed catchy tunes!

TOBIAS BORN is a queer stand-up comedian with a sharp eye for images of masculinity, role clichés and social absurdities. With dry humor and clever self-irony, he dissects patriarchal structures and celebrates diversity. His performances are pointed, courageous and always close to the audience.

NEO stands for modern stand-up comedy from a non-binary perspective. With autobiographical humor, playful lightness and fine timing, Neo questions social norms and identities. Honest, surprising and refreshingly different.

MARLENA SCHÖNFELD combines stand-up comedy with elements of poetry slam and linguistic art. With sharp wit and a keen sense of nuance, she talks about personal and social issues. Intelligent, reflective and pointed.

SCHWESSI is a stand-up comedian and musician with a clear queer-feminist attitude. Her comedy is political, provocative and often complemented by satirical songs. On stage, she doesn't mince her words and hits the bull's eye.

This show will be very special - because the SMASH COMEDY stage belongs only to those who are extremely underrepresented in the scene (which is dominated by white hetero cis men). Instead of giving a stage to dick jokes, "my girlfriend" jokes and racist clichés, we want to create visibility for the voices and realities of life that are otherwise only the target of these jokes. With maximum fun and diversity power against discrimination! Be inspired, show solidarity and train your empathy muscles! And then laugh so loudly together that patriarchal structures quietly start to crumble...
