In the organizer's words:

We love summer, we love the sun, we strengthen solar energy in Ehrenfeld.

With the Sommer Sonne Solar project, we at ökoRAUSCH want to promote the joy and interest in solar energy, break down inhibitions in dealing with technology and empower us all to harvest the sun's energy. Our goal is as clear as day: we want more PV modules to be installed on Ehrenfeld's roofs and balconies, on garden sheds and bicycle ports!

Whether you are a tenant or owner, have a balcony, a roof or neither - discovering and learning about solar energy can be interesting and relevant for everyone. Because solar energy makes happy - that's a promise!

That's why we are bringing together various players and formats to offer easily accessible, free advice and information:

In a participatory art project with pupils from two Ehrenfeld schools - Montessori Gymnasium and Geschwister Scholl Realschule - Studio Quack is working with the pupils to design solar sculptures for Leo-Amann-Park. They use integrated photovoltaic modules to generate electricity that you can use!
The vernissage is on 26.06., but you can also admire the solar sculptures in the park the following days.
