We love summer, we love the sun, and we’re promoting solar energy in Ehrenfeld.

In a participatory art project with students from two Ehrenfeld schools—the Montessori Gymnasium and the Geschwister Scholl Realschule—Studio Quackis working with the students to create solar sculptures for Leo-Amann Park. Thanks to integrated photovoltaic modules, they generate electricity that you can use! 
The opening is on June 26, but you can still admire the solar sculptures in the park in the days that follow.

We at ökoRAUSCH want to use the “Sommer Sonne Solar”project to foster joy and interest in solar energy, break down barriers to using technology, and empower all of us to harness the sun’s energy. Our goal is crystal clear:We want more PV modules installed on Ehrenfeld’s roofs and balconies, on garden sheds and bike sheds!

Whether you’re a renter or a homeowner, whether you have a balcony, a roof, or neither—discovering and learning about solar energy can be interesting and relevant for everyone. Because solar energy makesyou happy—we promise!
