On the weekend of the city's birthday in mid-June, there is a varied family program in the Alter Hof that is closely interwoven with the city's history. Children can lend a hand in the studios and workshops and try out old trades: Whether in the courtyard kitchen, the writing room, the laundry, basket weaving or in the carving workshop - the setting is reminiscent of a public market, but where nothing is sold, but everyone takes part.
