Stadtradeln Bremen 2024

In the organizer's words:

In September 2024, Bremen will take part in CITY CYCLING for the first time and become part of the Germany-wide cycle kilometer collection community.

From September 2 to 22, 2024, the motto is: Cyclists of the city: swing the pedals, turn the wheels, grab the handlebars and give the CITY CYCLING your kilometers!

The city of Bremen is taking part in CITY CYCLING for the first time, but it has been a cycling city for a long time. So here, what fits together is brought together to be part of the large community of participating municipalities and to further promote sustainable bicycle mobility in Bremen.

For three weeks, all cyclists in Bremen can cycle together, form teams, compete with each other or against each other and take part in the challenge to promote Bremen as a CITY CYCLING city. Whether daily or infrequently, only on a nice weekend or even in the rain: every kilometer counts!

It's worth taking part: there's something to win!

A personal account will be drawn from the 20 most active* teams to receive a voucher for 2 nights at the Land of Green Naturresort in Teufelsmoor, including breakfast and final cleaning.

A guided bike tour to the highlights of Bremen will be lotteried to one team from the 20 most active* teams with more than 10 members.

From the 20 most active* teams, six personal accounts will receive 5x2 day tickets for SIXDAYS Bremen on 10-13.01.2025 (for the Sunday or Monday of the event) and 1x2 day tickets for the World Indoor Cycling Championships in Bremen from 25-27.10.2024 (for the Friday of the event, 25.10.) will be lotteried.

All personal accounts will be entered into a lottery to win merchandise from the "FAHRRADja! 2024. Bremen bewegt Dich." and BIKE IT! theme year, including cobags, T-shirts and FINN smartphone holders.

*The activity of the teams is measured by the average total mileage per member.
