Stand.art - 18. Kunstmarkt

In the organizer's words:

The Stand.art art market is a cross-style mixture of exhibition and art bazaar. Accompanying the more than 20 exhibiting artists is a colorful stage program with music, lectures and workshops. From classic oil painting to interactive multimedia installations, every form of art is welcome.

The idea behind the whole thing is to create synergies between artists from different scenes, to create a forum in which they can present their work and enter into a dialog with an art-interested audience.

Far away from the established galleries and the prevailing concept of art, there is a lot to discover that unfortunately often does not get the opportunity to be shown to the public. The Stand.art art market wants to counteract this and present artists who act independently of the general taste in art.

The starting signal for the Stand.art art market was given on Sun. 30.10.2016.
Since then, it has been held three times a year at the Bauspielplatz Friedenspark ("Baui") in Cologne's Südstadt district.

The indoor and outdoor areas are barrier-free.
The event is child-friendly.

It is best to take the subway (lines 15, 16, 17) to Chlodwigplatz, Ubierring or Bonner Wall stations.
From there it is a short walk.
