Open singing meeting in the summer garden

The singing meeting Stimmen In Situ offers a sonic and musical insight into the creative process of the performative piece Genealogía In Situ.
The invitation is extended to anyone interested in singing, listening, dancing or participating in a shared musical experience characterized by melodies and sound elements composed especially for the piece. Participants can explore the speaking and singing voice through various technical aspects in order to deepen their individual and collective perception of sound and rhythm. The work focuses on discovering the organic relationship between the voices in a performative situation.

Genealogía In Situ is an interdisciplinary project with a performative character based on the reconstruction of memories of the disappearance of the mining village of El Cobre in Chile. By combining expectations associated with the extractivist model and female worldviews from South America, it encourages reflection on the loss and persistence of bodies, voices and memories.
The singing meeting Voices In Situ thus becomes part of the creative process, creating a shared scenic space and opening up the opportunity to get to know the group's thematic focuses and working methods. The result is a new perspective on the performative work that allows each individual to find their own way of being present and thus act as co-creators:in a performance that transcends differences.

Under the direction of Morín González Mena and Quiltra Fina. Together with the creative team of the Genealogía In Situ project and the special support of the Munaimanta choir.
