Sting 3.0

As so often in his unique career, Sting is causing a stir with a new musical chapter. As "Sting 3.0", the 17-time Grammy Award winner will be joining his virtuoso guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas on an arena tour in Germany and Switzerland in the fall of 2025. An NRW-exclusive concert by the power trio in the LANXESS arena is also on the agenda: the Cologne show with the greatest hits and rarities from Sting's timeless songbooks will take place on October 8, 2025.

"Sting 3.0" has been celebrated on previous stages as another highlight of his diverse live performances. He brings excerpts from his extensive body of work to the stage in the concentrated format of a trio, including his new song "I wrote your Name (Upon My Heart)", released by Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records.

In his extraordinary career, Sting, who has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has received 17 GRAMMY Awards® and sold 100 million albums worldwide. He is considered one of the world's most distinguished solo artists, as well as the former frontman of The Police. As a composer, singer-songwriter, actor, author and activist, Sting has also received a Golden Globe, four Academy Award nominations, a Tony nomination, Billboard Magazine's Century Award and the Kennedy Center Honors.

Sting's support for human rights organizations such as the Rainforest Fund, Amnesty International and Live Aid reflects his art in its universal reach. Together with his wife Trudie Styler, Sting founded the Rainforest Fund in 1989 to protect the world's rainforests and the indigenous peoples who live there.

On October 8, 2025, "Sting 3.0" will make an exclusive NRW guest appearance at the LANXESS arena in Cologne. The general advance sale starts on Friday, 06.12.2024, at 11.00 am.
