STOFFEL 2026: Johannes Scherer

He has been a host at FFH, the leading radio station in Hesse, since 1994. From 2003 to 2010, he was also active on television as the host of the Sat.1 breakfast show “Weck Up.”

In 2005, he won the “German Radio Award” in Berlin in the “Best Hosting” category. He has also received several awards at the International Radio Festival in New York, including a gold medal. He has been nominated twice for the ECHO Award—as a “junior partner” alongside his colleague Bodo Bach, with whom he also revived their old radio days (“Die 2 Beiden”) on stage in the fall of 2010. For over ten years, Scherer has also been performing solo on comedy and cabaret stages.
