The 7-piece Brit soul/jazz collective Stone Foundation has always been in the tradition of the Pasadenas, Style Council, Dexy's Midnight Runners and the sixties fashion scene. Members of Dexy's, Blow Monkeys and Young Disciples as well as soul/dub legends such as Nolan Porter and Dennis Bovell have made guest appearances and the band has toured with The Specials, among others. But Stone Foundation's new studio album is the crowning glory. "Street Rituals" was completely produced and partly co-written by Paul Weller (The Jam, Style Council), who was involved in all songs as pianist, guitarist and/or vocalist, even as lead singer on "Your Balloon Is Rising".
