Strand, Wellen, Wein & Liebe - eine Schlagersommerreise

Our hearts beat faster in summer. In summer, we want to travel, to the seaside, to sunny bays or at least to the nearest quarry pond, and when the mood is this good, pop songs are at their best. Rainer Moritz, literary scholar and pop expert, takes us on a journey through the history of summer songs. We open "Bett im Kornfeld" with Jürgen Drews, search for "Spuren im Sand" with Howard Carpendale, shout "Viva España" with Imca Marina, pack our swimming trunks with little Cornelia and ask Nina Hagen why the color film was forgotten on Hiddensee.
