Cult to the power of two: The Super 8 Football Show is a variation of Thommi Baake's successful program "The Super 8 Show - The Weirdest Films of All Time". This time, the actor and comedian shows soccer films from 1954 to 1978.

The spectrum ranges from the newsreel report of the 1954 World Cup victory to German championship finals from the 1950s (Hannover 96 were German champions in 1954!) to the famous soccer games of the animals. There is the soccer ballet, a training course on the instep kick and the 1974 final.

Of course, Thoma Baake - appropriately dressed in the original Dynamo Dresden GDR tracksuit - spices it all up with songs on the ukulele and the traditional quiz questions. 100% pure narrow-movie soccer entertainment with a soccer exhibition and goal wall shooting: an evening not just for football fans!

Thommi Baake

is an actor, presenter, musician, author, cineaste - and above all an entertainer. Born in Bad Arolsen in 1962, he was already playing theater during his school days and founded his first folk band. He has been performing professionally on stage since 1988. In 1992, he was awarded the 1st Audience and Jury Prize at the Cologne Comedy Festival. He has appeared at the Quatsch Comedy Club and on RTL Samstag Nacht, among others. His humor and talent for improvisation are legendary - in his solo programs and, of course, in the Super 8 Show.
