Süperdisko is a party and stands for all of this - we want to have fun, dance and celebrate. We love the most diverse styles of electronic club music (from house & techno or breakbeats to hardtrance & Eurodance), but also disco, boogie & funk. And we love to enrich these sounds with our diverse influences and culturally hybrid identities and merge them into something new.

Sherryaeri I Berlin

Music and Djing is highly political for Sherryaeri. Her "genrefluid" sound represents artists and genres such as Electro Chaabi or Arabbas, which otherwise don't get enough space. In her sets, Sherryaeri celebrates multidimensional realities that give everyone a sense of belonging.

Sherryaeri has already enchanted crowds internationally at festivals such as Splash in Germany, clubs such as Yuyu in Mexico City and renowned events such as Hoe_mies and Boiler Room (Frankfurt). One thing is clear: Sherryaeri's sounds are always for booty shaking, relieving stress and releasing the pressure of capitalist, patriarchal white supremacy.

DJ, promoter and initiator of many inter- and transcultural as well as post-migrant concepts and events such as süperdisko, Café Istanbul, Turkish Delicacies Backgammon Tournaments, concerts and festivals for over 15 years. Burakete loves and lives style breaks and the unexpected in his sets, playing with contrasts and yet always reconciling electronic club sounds with diasporic music genres. Arabesk funk bangers on techno beats, Anatolian psych vinyl treasures on disco and house or simply the latest Arabtraphite, the energy that Buratkete's sets release leaves no one standing still, no matter how unfamiliar the tones and sounds may be. By the time the Kurdish halay interludes start, everyone is dancing together.

We are a space that refutes and resists constructed racist prejudices and stereotypes.

We are diverse, we are many.

Our existence deconstructs structurally anchored, exclusionary, racist thought patterns.

And we demand attention, space and sensitivity.

Code of Conduct:

We want a space in which all those present can feel comfortable and are against any kind of discrimination, ableism, racism, fascism, nationalism, religious fanaticism, anti-Muslim racism, anti-Semitism, LGBTQI+ hostility or exclusion based on religious, cultural or sexual identities or orientations.
