The opulently cast "Sweet Soul Summer Night" in the Brunnenhof at the Residenz takes you on a fast-paced and rousing musical journey through 50 years of soul history: eight first-class singers follow in the footsteps of soul legends such as James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. The perfect old-school sound is provided by a ten-piece band with a five-part brass section, grooving rhythm section and real Hammond organ. "An explosive mixture of emotion, rhythm and passion", wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
