When legendary video game worlds meet the power of a grand symphony orchestra, the result is a concert experience that goes far beyond nostalgia. On September 26, Stuttgart will once again become a gathering place for gaming and music fans from all over Germany: The Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra will present “FINAL FANTASY – SYMPHONIC MEMORIES” as part of its new Philharmonic Pops series.

The program features some of the most impressive musical pieces in video game history: music from FINAL FANTASY VII, Kingdom Hearts, and—as a special highlight—a world premiere commissioned specifically for this concert, drawn from the award-winning music of NieR. In a symphonic setting, these soundscapes unfold their full power and demonstrate why video game music is celebrated worldwide today. A concert evening for longtime fans as well as for anyone who wants to discover this fascinating music for the first time.

The lineup includes pianist Mischa Cheung, host Alex Moukala, and the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Eckehard Stier.

Since 2018, the international concert series Symphonic Memories has been thrilling gaming fans worldwide. Now it returns to Stuttgart with an extraordinary program—for an evening full of goosebump-inducing moments.
