Fancy trying something new and getting creative yourself?
We're opening our workshop to you on Printmaking Day! In a relaxed atmosphere, you can get to know different printing techniques, experiment and try them out - and of course take your own little works of art home with you.
Whether you're printing for the first time or just need some color under your fingernails:
It's all about making, discovering and having fun.
You can expect etching, lino printing and cyanotype (sunprints) - three very different ways of putting pictures on paper (or more). Come along, take a look and find your favorite technique!
► Lino printing with Birgit Schiffer:
Cut, roll, print - and be amazed at what can be created from a simple plate.
Learn the basics of linocut and create your own print step by step.

Etching with Natja Jander
Fine lines, exciting structures and the special magic of intaglio printing.
You will gain an insight into the technique of etching and try out for yourself how drawing and print come together.

► SunPrints / Cyanotype with Luiza & Nicole
Design with sunlight: You will expose floral motifs on paper or a ceramic coaster and also learn how a photo negative works as a template.
You will also receive a small instruction booklet so that you can continue experimenting at home.

Thommys BBQ will provide you with really tasty hot dogs so that you don't run out of energy between the paint, printing press and sun prints.
Whether classic, hearty, veggie or with special toppings - there's something here for every taste.
So treat yourself to a little break, grab a hot dog and enjoy the relaxed workshop feeling.

Are you flexible? Then just drop by.
You can take part without registering, speak to the artist directly, pay on site and get a short introduction before you get started yourself.
