Takuma Ishii Klavierabend "Liebe"

In September 2026, Japanese pianist Takuma Ishii will give his first solo recital at the Palais Wittgenstein in Düsseldorf.

The internationally sought-after pianist has won awards including second prize at the International Georges Enescu Competition in Bucharest and has performed at the Berlin Philharmonie, where he appeared with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra to great acclaim from the audience.

For his program, Ishii has compiled a selection of Romantic piano works that explore the theme of “love” from various musical perspectives.
