Fragile world

"The idea for this album came about after I had to leave Lebanon, my home country, and start my life anew in exile," says Lebanese singer and songwriter Tania Saleh about "Fragile" - a work about loss, uncertainty, hope and the search for a place in this world. Together with her band, she combines Arabic pop, folk, jazz and electronic soundscapes to create a multi-layered sound that combines tradition and the present and makes the fragility of our time audible - hauntingly and with great emotional intensity.
