Tanztheatral - Die 4 Jahreszeiten - neu verTANZt
In the organizer's words:
The four seasons come into conflict—their usual sequence begins to break down.
Movement becomes an expression of change and balance.
Set to music by Antonio Vivaldi, reimagined by Max Richter, a choreography emerges
featuring breathtaking imagery, delicate emotions, a dash of wit, and dynamic turning points.
A dance theater piece for people of all ages that awakens the spirit of spring—even in the fall.
The piece invites us to reflect on our relationship with nature. When the seasons
order, this reflects not only a conflict in dance but also our
present moment—a world in flux. This fosters a sensory awareness of climate and
balance that requires no words but leaves a lasting impression.
With an international ensemble from Germany, Japan, and Austria,
TANZTHEATRAL combines diverse movement languages into a striking dance about the
powers of the seasons.
