TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA 2025: Magdalena Reiter “Quartet”

"Quartet" is a poetic choreography about the visible and invisible architectures of human relationships. A cinematographic experience unfolds between a dancer and two live cameras - the cameras not only document what is happening on stage, but also enlarge, highlight, distort and capture what would otherwise remain hidden from view. Between closeness and distance, coexistence and alienation, desire and violence, the performative reality is constantly reshaped. The dancers playfully challenge the audience's perception and question individual patterns of interpretation.
