Our themed workshop“Make Your Own Cup”is all about creating cups—including handles. In addition to the basics of pottery on the wheel, you’ll learn various techniques for making and attaching handles.
 

Lucie (@pirkceramics) will guide you step by step through the process—from centering the clay to throwing the cup, all the way to shaping and attaching the handle. The result will be your very own personalized cup that you can use in your daily life.
 

Over the course of the workshop, you’ll create about 1 to 2 cups, for which you can choose your preferred glaze—we’ll handle the glazing and firing for you. After about 4 to 5 weeks, you can pick up your finished pieces at the studio or have them shipped to you for an additional fee.

Optionally, you can glaze your pieces yourself in a separate glazing workshop. The glazing workshop costs an additional €30. 

All finished pieces are food-safe.
