In a small group of up to four participants,Tobi from project voidwill guide you through a total of five sessions as you learn to work at the potter’s wheel. There will be plenty of time for individual attention, personalized support, and working at your own pace.

No prior experience is required. Whether this is your first time using a potter’s wheel or you’ve already gained some experience—Tobi will support you exactly where you are right now.

Group 1
Starts on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by every subsequent Wednesday (4 sessions total) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Group 2
Starts on the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by every subsequent Thursday (4 sessions total) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The course always starts in the first week of the month. 
Four pottery sessions take place over four consecutive weeks.

The fifth session is the glazing session. This will be scheduled individually with the group so that as many people as possible can participate.

What to Expect

The focus is on working at the potter’s wheel. You’ll learn the basic techniques of wheel-throwing, gain confidence in handling clay and tools, and be able to bring your own ideas and projects to life. Thanks to the small group size, there’s plenty of room for individual requests, questions, and personalized support.

• All bisque and glaze firings
• Studio glazes
• Use of all tools and materials

There are no additional material or firing costs.

After glazing, your pieces will be fired one last time and can then be picked up from us, fully glazed and food-safe.
 

Flexible Participation

If you’re ever unable to attend a session, that’s no problem. By arrangement, you can make up the session in another class group or, if space is available, attend on an alternative date.
