Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Tate McRae has achieved impressive international recognition in a very short space of time and has been nominated for numerous prestigious awards, including a Billboard Music Award, a People's Choice Award and no fewer than four iHeartRadio Music Awards. Now she announces the highly anticipated second album "Think Later", which will be released on December 8, 2023. With her catchy pop music, Tate McRae is one of the most talented and successful singers of her generation and announces her world tour, which will also take Tate McRae to Germany and Austria between April 28 and May 14, 2024.

Twenty-year-old Tate McRae has conquered the entire Western music world overnight and now has click figures in the billions on the major streaming platforms. Growing up in Calgary, she found her dream job as a ballet dancer at an early age, to which she immediately devoted everything - including up to eleven hours of daily training at the renowned Alberta Ballet. Her hard work paid off: At the age of 11, she was awarded a scholarship to the Staatsballett Berlin after winning the silver medal at the 2015 Youth America Grand Prix - the world's largest student ballet competition. At that time, music still served her as an important acoustic tool for practicing and choreographing her future profession.

Her musical career therefore began rather by chance. She began regularly presenting her own choreographies on YouTube and founded her YouTube channel called "Create With Tate". At some point, she also decided to upload her own songs. The video for her first self-composed song, a ballad called "One Day", was listened to more than 36 million times shortly afterwards. This marked the beginning of her rapid international music career.

Almost two and a half years later, Tate McRae finally made her big breakthrough with her single "you broke me first", which has had almost two billion streams since its release in 2020. The two EPs, "TOO YOUNG TO BE SAD" (2021) and "all the things i never said" (2020), are the highly acclaimed precursors to her debut album "i used to think i could fly" in 2022. Critics were once again enthusiastic, with Billboard declaring "Tate McRae steps onto the road to stardom on her long-awaited debut album", while grammy.com stated that "every track shows McRae is poised to be one of the most honest and authentic superstars of her generation."

Without a doubt, Tate McRae is one of the rising stars in pop music today. Her second album "Think Later" will include the single "greedy", released in September 2023, which has amassed several hundred million streams in just one month and is at the top of various pop charts. The hypnotic song is considered "an artistic watershed (...) a driving self-empowerment anthem built on a poppy hook that finds McRae switching back and forth between falsetto and unwavering confidence," according to Billboard. Her impressive journey continues next year when she comes to Germany and Austria for five concerts.
