TEDDY AWARD

The TEDDY AWARD, the oldest and most important queer film award in the world, will take place during the Berlin International Film Festival from February 15 - 25, 2024. At the 38th TEDDY AWARD ceremony, the coveted trophies for the best queer films of the Berlinale will be presented in the categories Best Feature Film, Best Documentary / Essay Film, Best Short Film, Jury Award and as a Special TEDDY for outstanding achievements. The award ceremony and the subsequent legendary TEDDY After Show Party will take place again this year on February 23, 2024 at 8:30 pm at the Volksbühne Berlin.

Party: 23:00 in the salons and foyers of the Volksbühne: The legendary TEDDY After Show PARTY with 2 dance floors, the TEDDY Charity Lounge and the No Coffee Lounge.

Screening Ticket: For all those who are unable to purchase a ticket for the 38th TEDDY AWARD ceremony in the Great Hall of the Volksbühne, we are once again offering the Screening Lounge Ticket this year. This allows you to watch the award ceremony live from the Red Salon and Green Salon, right next door to the Great Hall. Free admission to the subsequent after-show party is included in the price.

For all those who want to support the Förderverein Teddy e.V. in particular, we offer the Premium Sponsorship Ticket, half of which includes a donation for the prize money for the award-winning filmmakers. Upon request, you will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt for €75 per sponsorship ticket. With the purchase of a premium sponsorship ticket, you will be seated in the best seating category between artists, filmmakers and invitees. In addition, the TEDDY sponsorship ticket includes an invitation to the exclusive TEDDY pre-reception from 18:30-19:30.
