How much letting go does it take to arrive? What makes a diverse society? In order to get to the bottom of these questions together, the performing and visual artist Marlin de Haan and her team founded a laboratory for intergenerational exchange. In the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Haus, which was founded after the Second World War for those affected by flight, expulsion and forced resettlement in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the participants exchanged views on personal and shared experiences, places of life left behind, new and old homelands, rituals and relics, memories and gaps in memory. This is where the audience is now invited to go in Teller im Topf - on a staged journey between road movie and performance.
