The Half Orphans

The Half Orphans present the madness of life as a musical show. Their experimental compositions blend rock with every conceivable genre, including Latin, chanson, classical, jazz, rap, and klezmer. The result is highly original songs full of unexpected twists and turns, with lyrics brimming with ambiguous, humorous morbidity that frequently veer into the surreal. This wild mix really comes into its own during their accomplished live shows. That’s because Isa (vocals, keyboard), Alex (bass), Andrés (guitar), Ariana (backing vocals, percussion), and Andy (drums) bring two things above all else to the stage: creativity and energy.
