The Hi-Stakes are a 5-piece rhythm & blues band from Amsterdam. At the center of the band is their singer and charismatic frontman Samuele Ghezzi, who knows how to captivate every audience. Once started as a Ray Charles/Louis Jordan cover band, The Hi-Stakes now play exclusively their own compositions, which help rock'n roll into the 21st century with humorous lyrics. The best-dressed band in the Netherlands released their debut album in the summer of 2023, and the release tour took them through Italy, Belgium, Mexico, Brazil and the Netherlands, including to the Blue Note Sao Paolo and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam. In fall 2025, they released their second album "Do It", which they will present on this tour.
