THE MUSICAL BOX performs Genesis - Selling England by the Pound

THE MUSICAL BOX are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Genesis tour for the album "Selling England by the Pound". On April 27, the Canadian rock archaeologists will copy the show, which was accompanied by frenetic cheers at the time, to the Kongresshalle in Böblingen.

Many of the old and new Genesis fans have never seen the legendary first multimedia performance in the rock music sector, nor were they able to experience the young Peter Gabriel in his diverse and theatrical roles as the singer of Genesis. THE MUSICAL BOX closes this gap by replicating or procuring every last detail from the original at enormous expense in terms of time and materials: instruments, masks, costumes, stage sets, sound and lighting equipment, visual effects, props, ...

The 1:1 replication is a rocking musical theater that gives the visitor the feeling of being in the original show! All title announcements, every song, every movement by Gabriel, all lighting moods and settings, but also the complete multimedia recordings are reproduced exactly as they were performed by Genesis 50 years ago.
