To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest, the world's biggest music competition is going on a major European tour for the first time: The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) presents the first official Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour - a musical event that connects generations and brings the magic of the Eurovision Song Contest to the hearts of Europe. Specially developed for the anniversary year, this extraordinary concert series brings together legendary Eurovision icons and current participants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Together, they will celebrate seven decades of music history, boundless diversity and one of the most passionate fan communities in the world. The show in Cologne will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the LANXESS arena.
Following the record-breaking ticket sales for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, the live tour will allow all those fans who cannot be there to experience the unique Eurovision atmosphere up close - with great voices, spectacular productions and exactly the feeling that has made Eurovision so special for 70 years.
Eurovision comes alive in June and July: Tens of thousands of fans come together in ten major European cities to celebrate, sing along and feel the unifying power of music - across borders, languages and generations. Artists who have made Eurovision history over the past seven decades will take to the stage, as well as ten acts from the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 from Vienna. Visitors can also look forward to special surprises in each city: secret special guests will turn the shows into unforgettable live experiences. The performing acts will present their own Eurovision entries as well as reinterpreted classics from 70 years of Eurovision history - a musical journey through the greatest moments of the contest.
Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest:
"To mark the 70th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest, we wanted to create something truly extraordinary - and the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour is just that. This historic premiere shows the evolution of the contest from a TV icon to an immersive live experience, combining our glorious past with an exciting look into the future. For the very first time, we are bringing the magic of the Eurovision Song Contest as a live experience directly to fans across Europe. It's a celebration of the music, the artists and the community that have shaped the Eurovision Song Contest for seven remarkable decades."
James O'Brien, CEO of Progress Productions, adds:
"To realize this concert series is an extraordinary honour. The Eurovision Song Contest has produced some of the most memorable moments in music history - and we can't wait to take that energy to arenas across Europe in 2026. This tour is a passionate tribute to everything that makes the Eurovision Song Contest so iconic."
