The Pioneers & The Upsessions & Soul Droppers - Boots Night präsentiert

We are more than proud to welcome one of the most successful Jamaican vocal groups of ska, rocksteady and early reggae to Boots Night.

The Pioneers have been around since 1967, with several longer breaks and for the last few years in the final two-piece line-up.

They have released countless singles and several albums, and have even had hits in the British charts. Here are just a few: Long Shot Kick The Bucket, Let Your Yeah Be Yeah, Easy Come, Easy Go, Papa Was A Rolling Stone.....

Now Jackie Robinson and George Dekker are back on tour and doing the honors at Boots Night to revive their hits and the spirit of 69.

Welcome The Pioneers!

They will be baked by none other than the early reggae heavyweight champions The Upsessions from Amsterdam. They are no strangers to Boots Night, having delivered a brilliant and sweat-inducing show at Grand Ska Circus 2023.

But before they accompany The Pioneers, they will play their own 60s Reggae Fever set, which we are really looking forward to.

As opener we welcome a young reggae/rocksteady band from Gothenburg in Sweden.

The Soul Droppers have been spreading their catchy sound with a punk attitude to the world for four years. They have played concerts in Norway, Germany and Sweden.
