The Queer Kiss Project -The exhibition

In the organizer's words:

"If a kiss is a protest, let's be loud!"

In June 2026, photographer Sina-Marie Schons presents The Queer Kiss Project for the first time - an artistic-political photo project about queer kisses in public spaces as a form of visibility and protest💋

Over 75 participants have taken part in a series that documents queer love, courage and resistance and questions the social attributions of intimacy.

The exhibition combines photographic works with stories from the participants and collected video material to create an immersive experience that celebrates queer love.

The Queer Kiss Project sees itself as a growing visual archive of queer visibility and resilience in public space.

The opening will take place on 19.06.2026 at 18:30, the exhibition will then run until 29.06.2026.
