The Rhino plays garage rock that’s catchy and raw, yet complex. Like a rhinoceros, their music is gentle one moment and suddenly powerful and wild the next. Influences from blues, grunge, and stoner rock come together here to form a blend that remains highly dangerous even in its quiet moments. Even though their sound has a distinctly American aesthetic, The Rhino constantly plays with elements of non-Western music, breathing new life into that dusty ’70s sound.
