The Roots of Time – Terrestrial Time

The Roots of Time, a modern jazz quintet founded in Berlin, explores the connection between tradition and innovation through collective improvisation and original compositions. With members from different musical backgrounds (Italy, Japan, Turkey), the band draws from jazz heritage while embracing open forms and cosmic visions. Their sound is both rooted and free, structured and spontaneous - a journey into the unknown, carried by deep roots.

The concert at Zimmer 16 is part of their summer series "Terrestrial Time", in which sound and time merge.
