The Swing Aces - A Glorious Night of Swing in Stuttgart

Visitors to the Friedrichsbau are already familiar with her as the powerful-voiced diva La Kruttke from the variety shows “Noir” and “Masque.” Now Kristina Kruttke returns to our stage with the Cologne-based band KATIE & THE SWING ACES.

This classic jazz club combo, dressed in the style of the 1920s and 1930s, gets every audience dancing, swaying, and listening with their rousing sound. These renowned jazz musicians, who usually share the stage with Tom Gaebel, the WDR Big Band, and Dick Brave, bring danceable music that brings the “Golden Swing Era” back to life.

With hits ranging from Louis Armstrong to Benny Goodman and evergreens from Ella Fitzgerald to Nat King Cole, they authentically bring bygone eras back to life. The charming singer and entertainer Miss Katie skillfully and effortlessly guides the evening, captivating the audience with her voice and stage presence.
