The Velvet Suits

In the organizer's words:

The Velvet Suits were founded in Berlin in 1999. The band consists of members from Melbourne and Berlin, and was a staple of the Berlin bar scene in the early 2000s with their blend of alt-rock and Americana, known for their impressive performances.
After a creative hiatus and lengthy studio work, the band is now performing again for the first time. In addition to striking original songs such as the much-praised "Jupiter's Moon", they offer an eccentric mix of covers by artists such as Silver Jews, Patti Smith and Joe Jackson, which they interpret in their very own style. Desert blues meets space ballad.
