Seamonsters 35th Anniversary Tour 2026

The Wedding Present will play a series of concerts in Germany in 2026 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of their landmark album "Seamonsters".

Following the release of 'Seamonsters' - which was recorded in twelve days by the legendary Steve Albini in 1991 - The Guardian wrote: "Albini has lent The Wedding Present considerable weight, with Gedge's voice flowing between rows of scowling guitars" and included the album in its list of "1,000 albums you must hear before you die". Despite its uncompromising sound, the album reached number 13 in the British album charts and was celebrated as a classic.

On all concert dates, the band will perform "Seamonsters" in full, along with other songs carefully selected from their extensive repertoire.

RCA Records is also celebrating the anniversary with a limited edition reissue of the album on "Deep Sea Blue" colored BioVinyl.
